Our approach

We’re inspired by the heritage of early printing and the power of publication. This inspiration runs through everything we do, especially in our work with the antiquarian book trade. We also help professionals in technical and financial fields communicate their ideas, with designs that prioritize clarity and function.

Joanna Funke founded Funke Design with a eye for typographic structure, an affinity for environmental space, and deep respect for the history of print. Joanna is an architect and designer who approaches every detail with intention, and that mindset shapes our approach to the blank page.
