Sixteenth Century

For this catalogue, we helped present 32 sixteenth century books, including works by Georg Agricola, Pietro Bembo, and Plutarch. We photographed the books to capture their woodcuts and details, and carefully typeset the text in Sabon for consistency with the period's Garamond-inspired fonts. We also created a custom navigation device to guide readers through the collection’s 116 pages. Our design highlights each book’s unique features while providing context for their antiquarian value.
